OH-SEN: NRSC Spends Over $650,000 On DeWine-Brown Race

In a sign that the National Republican Senatorial Committee is seriously worried about Dem Sherrod Brown's challenge to GOP incumbent Senator Mike DeWine, new campaign finance data show that the NRSC has now spent an astonishing $656,054.58 to date this year on the race. The number can be found in the filing the NRSC made with the Federal Election Commission yesterday. The huge expenditure might have something to do with a new NRSC-sponsored TV ad now running which slams Brown on taxes. "It's a huge buy," a Brown adviser concedes of the ad to Election Central. "But clearly they're worried -- and we're gonna respond." View the ad below:

You forgot to note that $656,054.58 doesn't seem to buy a decent spell check anymore.

BSB
has a screen shot. Personally I don't think Brown has let us Dowm.

This bunch of Republican hacks isn't even competent to run a negative ad. That's what you get when you hire socially well connected but C- young Republicans.

To paraphrase the President--heck of a job NRSC.

There is one other thing worth noting about the ad. I was at the event the got the footage from. If you look in the back ground you will see blurry blue blocks, these were the Blackwell signs carried by the couple of homeschool families that the local GOP called out.

So the NRSC doesn't want to be associated with Blackwell either.
