CT-SEN: Rove: Lieberman Is A "Personal Friend"
Karl Rove clarifies reports that he called Joe Lieberman to offer help with his independent bid for Senate:
“I called him. He’s a personal friend, and I called him,” Rove said. “I called him the afternoon of - Tuesday afternoon, 5 o’clock thereabout, and wished him well in his election that night.” Asked to characterize the call, he added: “It was a personal call. Look, Harry Reid’s been at my house for dinner. So I actually do have friendships on the other side of the aisle.”

I understand Ted Kennedy and Orrn Hatch are very good friends. And I remember Bill Clinton at one of the Prayer Breakfasts describing right wing fundie Congressman Steve Largent as a good personal friend even though they were on opposite sides politically. And Ted Kennedy and Jerry Falwell are also friends.
I'm sure there are all sorts of other examples.

Yes, but Rove is the Machiavellian monster himself. If Lieberman really were his friend, that says a lot. If Rove was calling for any other reason, that would say a lot too.
Either way, talk about a Michael Corleone kiss! Rove is too smart not to know this. With friends like that . . .

There should be a NATIONAL democratic message...similiar to the Axis of Evil
Make it the Axis of KISSED and show a Trio of Faces...Rove, Bush and Cheney.
Had enough......Refused to be Kissed
Kissing policies ...equal death...show the coffins in Dover.
