CT-SEN: Lieberman Staff Defections Coming?
Via Political Wire, Steve Benen over at The Carpetbagger Report is saying that the Lieberman campaign is about to experience staff defections:
Two independent sources have confirmed that some Lieberman aides decided well in advance of yesterday's primary that if the senator abandoned the Democratic Party for an independent campaign, they would resign in protest. Given yesterday's results and Lieberman's announcement, that's exactly what's about to happen.

The DSCC has Lamont up on their front page. Lieberman alienated and abandoned his Party and the GOP will only use him. I was a Lieberman defender up until now.

Funny, I just read that Lieberman is requesting resignations from his staff including his spokesman because he doesn't think they did a good enough job stressing his Democratic record.
But I can see where the loony Lamont lefties will spin this as his staff deserting him.
