CT-SEN: Lamont Camp Denies Hack Attack

Ned Lamont's campaign is vehemently denying involvement in any hack attack on Joe Lieberman's campaign Web site, an assault the Lieberman camp is blaming on Lamont backers. Lamont Web coordinator Tim Tagaris has posted a statement denying all involvement:

"If Senator Lieberman’s website was indeed hacked, we had absolutely no part in it, denounce the action, and urge whoever is responsible cease and desist immediately." Full statement after the jump.

Apparently the Lieberman campaign is pushing a story that we have coordinated an attack against their website. Not a chance. Here’s the unqualified statement Sean Smith has called for.

If Senator Lieberman’s website was indeed hacked, we had absolutely no part in it, denounce the action, and urge whoever is responsible cease and desist immediately. It is our sincerest wish that everyone planning to vote for Ned Lamont or Joe Lieberman does so today.

Does anybody really believe Lieberman's site was hacked? Seems more likely that somebody in the Lieberman camp forgot to pay a bill.
