Ed Perlmutter’s (D) campaign says it will file a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against competitor Rick O’Donnell (R) for holding an illegal fundraiser at the home of Arthur Bushell, an executive at Bushell Insurance Agency Inc. The Perlmutter campaign says that the use of Bushell's company's resources, including the agency’s stationary and policyholder list, violates federal law. The O’Donnell campaign dismissed the allegations of wrongdoing and says that the company will be reimbursed for the use of its stationary. O’Donnell has been accused of illegally fundraising in the past; in March, Dems questioned the potentially illegal fundraising tactics on behald of O'Donnell of the head of the Environmental Protection Agency.
